Water Buffalo Tailgating Club: New England Patriots

toys for tots fundraising

Get this: The Water Buffalo Tailgating Club roots for the New England Patriots, but they have an even bigger mission – charity. The group was established in 2006 and is managed by a dedicated core of volunteers. Their primary focus is having a good time together by raising money for charity both through the Gillette Stadium’s charity concession program, charity tailgate parties, and their Tailgating For A Cause program.

On game day you can find the Water Buffalo Tailgating Club’s members volunteering for a charity by serving delicious food to fans inside the Gillette Stadium. After the game, they celebrate with tailgating charities under white tents and American flag in the lots. Either way just follow your nose, all are welcome!

This tailgating group is fed by their honorary Grand Puh Bah chef, Steve Beliveau.  Many of the Water Buffalo Tailgating Club events are underwritten by corporate partners, which enables the club to donate a larger percentage of funds raised to their affiliate charities. A PiesOn Oven, allows them to prepare fresh, hot brick oven pizza onsite. Steve is always grilling up some great sausage dish from The Sausage Guy and The Halfway Cafe supplies awesome boneless chicken wings which the WBTC coats with their own homemade BBQ sauce. The guys at 343 Production donate their time to drop some tunes and C&L Towing as well as Psychic Spirit contribute by participating in the club’s tailgate banner program. For 2011 the club is excited to announce they have teamed up with the Buffalo Water Beer Company to host pregame charity tailgate parties.

Currently the Water Buffalo Tailgating Club does not have a tailgating vehicle. Their primary focus is having a good time together by raising money for charity through the Gillette Stadium’s charity concession program. This means they serve delicious food to fans from two EZ Up Tents powered by a generator. Everyone is welcome to stop by!

You can see more pictures of their tailgate group on Facebook. They also have a WBTC website.
