Inside Tailgating Magazine is searching for the best Chili Recipe in the Carolinas!
It’s getting colder, and nothing goes better with football, tailgating and beer this time of year, than a hearty bowl of chili. So we’re searching to find the most delicious, flavorful and body-warming chili in the area with a Chili Cook-Off. The cook-off winner will be featured in an upcoming issue of our magazine, Inside Tailgating, to show off their chili to the world, and of course help our readers add a little heat to their tailgates this winter.
The Chili Cook-Off will be held at The Shed, Inside Tailgating’s national headquarters, located just two blocks northwest from Bank of America Stadium at 610 McNinch Street. Doors open at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, just hours before the Carolina Panthers host the Tennessee Titans.
Entry to the tailgate party at the Shed is free, and includes access to games such as Cornhole and the $10,000 TG4 Challenge. Our killer indoor/outdoor audio system will be playing great tunes and all the NFL action can be viewed on our 120-inch projection screen. For just $5, guests can taste test all the chili their heart desires—and not to fear, we’ll also throw in one free beer to wash it all down with!
Everyone who partakes in the chili tasting will receive a voter’s card to help us select the winner of this fierce competition. We’ll also have a small panel of local celebrities to keep the voting fair. The chili tasting begins at 11 a.m. with the winner announced at 5 p.m. after the Panthers game has concluded. The winner receives a full-page feature in Inside Tailgating Magazine, as well as a brand-new Stok Tower Grill.
Insidetailgating.com will also reveal the Final Four Simpsons characters to advance in our bracket of the Simpsons character you would most like to tailgate with. Connect here to cast your vote.
