“Cold Snap” cocktail perfect for Patriots fans

Need something special to serve for that tailgate or football-watching party this Sunday evening? What better way to take in a Patriots-Steelers AFC Championship game, at least for the Patriots faithful, than to serve a Sam Adams seasonal beer cocktail? The Samuel Adams Cold Snap Aletail, courtesy of the Boston Beer Company, is just what you need, we know! You’re welcome! Just follow these simple steps, and if it’s good luck, tuck the recipe away to serve again on Super Bowl Sunday.

Samuel Adams Cold Snap Aletail

3 oz. Samuel Adams Cold Snap

1 oz. Bourbon

0.5 oz. Yellow chartreuse

0.5 oz. Lemon juice

0.5 oz. Sugar

Grated nutmeg to garnish

Combine bourbon, yellow chartreuse, lemon juice and sugar in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a rocks glass, with no ice.  Add Samuel Adams Cold Snap on top.  Lightly grate nutmeg in the head of the beer.
