Race day dip is a hot dip that only takes 30 minutes to make. You can enjoy this multi-layered dip on race day, or whenever your favorite sporting event is live. It’s easy to scoop onto a plate, and tortilla chips are the perfect accompaniment. Plus, you can make it ahead of time and throw it in the oven once your guests arrive. Are you ready to get started? Race Day Dip
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 14 ounces marinara sauce
- 2 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 ounces canned diced green chilies
- 6 ounces sliced black olives
- 1 jalapeno pepper, sliced
- 12 ounces rough chopped pepperoni or salami
- 2 tbsp chopped green onions

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
- Spread the cream cheese evenly across the bottom of a 9-by-9 inch baking dish.
- Spread all of the pizza sauce over the cream cheese in one layer, followed by a layer of shredded cheese, green chilies, black olives, jalapenos, and pepperoni (or salami). Sprinkle with chopped green onions.
- Bake in the oven for 25 minutes until heated through. Serve with tortilla chips and enjoy!
To Make Ahead
- To make the night before, layer all of the ingredients and cover the baking dish with tin foil. Place in the refrigerator until you are ready to heat up, then place in the oven with the tin foil off and bake until heated through, 45-60 minutes.
