Deviled eggs are one of the most popular tailgating snacks for a reason. They are super easy to make and everyone loves them. This classic deviled eggs recipe combines a few simple ingredients for a hearty and addictive snack. Feel free to add other toppings like crispy bacon or even cheese!
Classic Deviled Eggs
Ingredients
- 12 eggs
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp white vinegar
- 3 tsp dijon mustard
- 1/4 tsp salt
- fresh cracked black pepper
- smoked paprika and dill for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil on the stove top. Once boiling, carefully place the eggs in the pot and continue to boil for 10 minutes. Carefully remove the eggs (or strain), and run the eggs under old water for 60 seconds.
- Peel the eggs gently so the whites remain intact. Slice in half lengthwise.
- Remove the yolks and place them in a medium bowl. Place the egg whites on a serving platter.
- Add mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper to the bowl with they yolks. Mash everything well with a potato masher until smooth.
- Just before serving, fill each egg with the yolk mixture using a spoon or a piping bag. Garnish with a pinch of paprika and dill. Enjoy!
