The New York Islanders no longer play in the heart of Long Island. Sure, Brooklyn is technically on LI, but the move out of Nassau Coliseum has broken the attraction to many locals to their long suffering team. What does this have to do with Long Island Ice Teas? Well,………………….nothing.
But it got us thinking about the horrible Long Island Ice Tea. And we wondered if there was some “GOOD” alternatives to that cocktail. So here is a couple of recipes you can use as you sit in the silent parking lot of the Nassau Coliseum, tailgating near an empty arena.
