This is our take on The “Our Garden Point of View” drink served at various golf courses. It’s refreshing and perfect on a hot day! Simply muddle the basil leaves, lime juice, and simple syrup, then mix it with gin and sparkling wine.

Ingredients

  • 4 Basil Leaves
  • 1.5 Oz Gin
  • 3/4 Oz Fresh Lime Juice can also use lemon juice
  • 1.5 Oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 Oz Sparkling Wine

Instructions

  • Muddle basil leaves with lime juice, simple syrup, and gin in a cocktail shaker. Add the ice and sparkling wine, and briefly shake as to not cause too many bubbles to form.
  • Double strain while pouring into martini glass. Garnish with fresh basil leaf.
