Spirit Thursday – Vodka and Bombs

The following drink borrows it’s name from the German terror-weapon, the rocket-propelled V-1, which was nick-named the buzz-bomb due to the characteristic noise it produced. To be perfectly honest, the V-1s really wouldn’t hit London until summer of ’44, but we’re not splitting hairs here…

Buzz Bomb

Ingredients:

• 1 oz Vodka
• 1 oz Cognac
• 1 oz Benedictine Herbal Liqueur
• 1 oz Cointreau® Orange Liqueur
• 1 oz Lime Juice
• Champagne

Directions:

1. Shake with ice and strain into champagne glass.
2. Top with champagne.
