Back in 1969, the Calgary Inn in Alberta needed a cool new cocktail for their Italian restaurant, so they asked Walter Chell, the bartender at their Owl’s Nest bar, to come up with something unique. Chell got creative and mixed vodka with Worcestershire, Tabasco, and a blend of clam and tomato juice. He called it the “Bloody Caesar.” It might sound like a weird combo, but it totally took off and ended up becoming Canada’s go-to drink. It’s still a huge hit to this day!
