A Mexican holiday celebrating the dead sounds like a reason to tailgate. Right? Ok….it might be a stretch but we are going to do it anyway.
The Day of the Dead (or Día de Muertos) is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and acknowledged around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey.
Get your soiree started with a toast to the living and the dead. Margaritas inspired by the holiday, like the Moonlit Margarita, Marigold Margarita, and the Sugar Skull Margarita, will have those on the other side wishing they could come back for a sip.
