As much as most tailgaters love meat, it’s not always the most palatable food when you start your tailgate party at 9:00 in the morning. Pancakes, bacon and eggs are great breakfast foods, but preparing them really isn’t conducive to an outdoor grill-based bash. But what about donuts?
Sure you can stop off at the local donut shop and grab box of minis made three days ago, but wouldn’t it be way cooler (and tastier) to make your own donuts? Nostalgia Electrics sure thinks so, which is why they proudly sell the Automatic Mini Donut Factory.
This 11.5-pound device molds, fries and drains fresh mini donuts in less than two minutes. To operate the factory, you just need dough and whatever you desire to put on top of your donuts. Once the tasty morsels roll down the built-in dispensing chute, you simply place them in a bag and mix in sugar, cinnamon, cocoa powder or sprinkles and shake the bag up.
The oil fryer inside comes with a dip tray for you to safely change the cooking oil after each use. The factory spits out 30 donuts per batch and safety guards protect you from splattering hot oil all. The Mini Donut Factory retails anywhere from $100 to $170 depending on where you shop.
