Coffee and tailgating don’t usually go hand in hand, unless your set-up is within walking distance of a Dunkin’ Donuts. Even then, who’s going to leave a tailgate for a coffee run and come back with a bunch of cold cups? The brilliant minds at Coleman have a better solution to get your caffeine fix, and it doesn’t include lobbying to bring back Jolt Cola.
Coleman designed a 10-Cup Portable Propane Coffeemaker that doesn’t require cords, stoves or percolators. Whether the coffee is needed to wake you up after an overnight stay at your tailgate, or to sober you up for the drive home once the game has gone final, this contraption does the job of giving you what your shaking body is jonesing for.
This device runs more than four hours on one 16.4-ounce propane cylinder and (like its title says) can fill 10 cups of hot steaming coffee. It weighs less than 10 pounds and advertises that it can brew coffee in 18 minutes. It retails for about 90 bucks, which does not include a carrying case that will cost you another 20 bones.
