Beer is pretty outstanding in many facets, but if you attempt to drink it during your workday, you’ll soon be out of job and have no money to buy more beer. But there is a kind of beer that you can imbibe all the time, especially if you brew it yourself. As you probably gathered from the top photo, we’re referring to root beer.
If you’re tired of paying for ultra-carbonated, ultra-sugary root beer, now you can make your own. Unlike one-person home brews, the Root Beer Brewing Kit is advertised as fun to share with friends and family. The process is very simple, and if followed correctly, the root beer can be enjoyed only three days after the brewing is complete.
The kit comes with just about everything you need — root beer mix, yeast, flavor crystals PET bottles with caps/gaskets, plastic funnel, and cleanser. The only thing missing is two types of sugar you need to buy separately. All of this makes a pair of 1-gallon batches of root beer, which is supposed to taste soft and creamy.
Children should be warned that there is about 0.5% alcohol by volume due to the carbonation process. For more information and a list of ingredients you’ll have trouble reading, connect to Think Geek.com.
