Have you or your kids got a boo-boo lately? Don’t succumb yourself to the Dora the Explorer band-aids to stop the bleeding, instead stick on a bandage of your favorite college team.
Varsity Adhesive Bandages not only stop the wound, but they are also the hot new accessory for showing off your school spirit. The company is frequently securing licensing rights for more schools, as they are rolling out a ton of new product on June 1. This includes six Big Ten universities (Illinois, Iowa, Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State and Purdue), four Big 12 schools (Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Texas), three ACC schools (Georgia Tech, Virginia and Virginia Tech) and the final two SEC programs to complete college football’s most powerful conference (Mississippi State and newcomer Missouri).
The website also claims they’ll represent schools in the Big East, Conference USA, MAC, Mountain West, Pac-12, Sun Belt and WAC, but there are currently no bandages available for any schools in these seven conferences.
Unfortunately the price for these bandages boxes is an outrageous $70. No, that’s not a typo. Seventy bucks. For your 70 bones, you get only 20 bandages, but they do come in four different designs and three different shapes, the coolest being the football-shaped bandage.
Most of these products are located in the Southeast and Midwest, and if you want to see the bandages in person, they are sold at Books-a-Million and Hibbett’s Sports throughout Alabama and Louisiana. For more information, connect to Varsity Bandages.com.
