Baked Brie En Croute
Ingredients
- 17 Oz Frozen Puff Pastry
- 8 Oz Brie Cheese, round
- 1/8 Cup Sliced Toasted Almond or Walnuts
- 1/4 Cup Raspberry Preserves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425. Lightly grease a cookie cookie sheet. Take the puff pastry out of the freezer and allow it to sit at room temperature until you can unroll it without it breaking. Roll puff pastry out slightly on the cookie sheet. Place the brie wheel on top (leave the rind on).
- Once the puff pastry is warm enough to unroll, open it up. Using a rolling pin, roll the puff pastry out slightly. Place the brie wheel on top in the middle (leave the rind on).
- Spoon the raspberry preserves on top of the cheese. Place almonds on top of the preserves and then bundle the puff pastry up and around the cheese. Press it down with your fingers to seal it, and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool for five minutes before serving with toasted bread or crackers. Enjoy!
