I was feeling like covering Jägermeister on Spirit Thursday. And I just happened to be watching a certain HBO show. So I combined them with some cocktails that work so well. Root for your favorite heroes, or your favorite foes, we have something for nearly every faction. No matter what the show brings, it’s sure to be one for the books!

TYRELL BED OF ROSES

Countdown to Westeros royal wedding with a drink inspired by the latest family to set their sights on the Iron Throne.

  • 2 part Jägermeister
  • .5 part Fresh Lemon Juice
  • .5 part Grenadine

Combine all ingredients in a shaker and add ice. Shake well, strain into a martini glass and serve.

DEER AND A BEER:

  • 1 shot of Jägermeister
  • Ommegang’s Fire & Blood Red Ale

Serve an ice cold shot of Jägermeister along with a beer.

Jägermeister After Dark:

.5 oz Dark Chocolate Liqueur

.75 – 1 oz Jägermeister

Pour in the liqueur and then use a bar spoon to carefully stream the Jägermeister on top of it. Drop in a cropped straw and drink the cocktail through it in one draw, starting at the bottom and finishing with the top layer ofJägermeister. You’ll get a great hit of dark chocolate and then the refreshing, herby balance of Jägermeister to round it off.
