St. Patrick’s Day, the high-holy day of the American drinking calendar is nearly here, but green beer, Irish coffees, and gallons of Guinness are not the only St. Patrick’s Day drinks to mark the occasion with. Should you be planning to sit out your local amateur hour and its countless misguided feats of drinking prowess and poor decision making, you may need a few ideas to entertain your guests.
Regardless of their favorite tipple, be it Whiskey, Rum, Tequila, etc, this year’s St. Partick’s Day drink guide should have something for everyone!
St. Patrick’s Day Drink Guide
St. Patrick’s Day Whiskey Cocktails:
SHAMROCK SPRITZER
- 1 part Kilbeggan® Irish Whiskey
- 4 parts Apple Juice
- Lemon-Lime Soda
KILBEGGAN® DUBLINER
- 3 parts Kilbeggan® Irish Whiskey
- 2 parts Sweet Vermouth
- 1½ parts Cherry Syrup
- 1½ parts Cranberry Juice
- Dash Simple Syrup (optional)
IRISH STORM
- 1½ parts Kilbeggan® Irish Whiskey
- 3 parts Ginger Beer
- 1 part Fresh Lemon Sour
IRISH BREAKFAST SHOT
- ½ part Kilbeggan® Irish Whiskey
- ½ partk DeKuyper® Buttershots
- 1 part Orange Juice
- 1 slide of Bacon
St. Patrick’s Day Rum Cocktails:
POT OF GOLD
- 1 1/2 parts Cruzan® 9 Spiced Rum
- 3/4 part DeKuyper® Orange Curacao
- 3/4 part Fresh Orange Juice
- 2 parts Fresh Lemon Sour
IRISH CHERRY SODA
- 1 part Kilbeggan® Irish Whiskey
- 1 part Cruzan® Black Cherry
- 1 part Lemon Lime Soda
Build in an iced highball glass, top with Lemon Lime Soda.
St. Patrick’s Day Vodka Cocktails:
CUCUMBER IRISH BLESSING

- 1½ parts EFFEN® Cucumber Vodka
- ¾ parts Lime Juice
- ¾ parts Simple Syrup
- 1 dash of Fee Brothers® Mint Bitters
- 6 Mint Leaves
- Club Soda
Muddle mint with lime juice and a few ice cubes, add to a cocktail shaker with remaining ingredients, except club soda, and shake. Fine strain into a cocktail glass with ice and add club soda. Garnish with mint sprig.
BELUGA IRISH GOLD COCKTAIL
- BELUGA Gold Vodka – 1.35 oz.
- Laurel syrup * – 0.34 oz.
- Sparkling wine – 3.38 oz.
- Laurel leaves – 6 g.
Glass: cocktail glass (200 – 300 ml)
Garnish: laurel leaf
Take a shaker, put ice then add vodka and laurel syrup, stir thoroughly. Put in the glass and fill with
sparkling wine up to the rim. Decorate with bay leaves and enjoy this herby St. Patrick’s Day drink.
* LAUREL SYRUP
to prepare laurel syrup – mix fructose with hot water in equal parts and add 28 fresh bay leaves, boil for 10 minutes and then sift
SULTRY IRISH KISS
- 1 1⁄2 parts Pucker® Citrus Squeeze™ Vodka
- 3 Slices of Cucumber
- Juice of Half a Lime
- 2 parts Ginger Ale
Add cucumber and lime juice to a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add a scoop of ice and vodka; shake vigorously. Add ginger ale and pour into a Collins glass for a fresh St. Patrick’s Day smacker.
POUR LEAF CLOVER
“A lucky libation for the Irish occasion. A magically delicious blend of SVEDKA Vodka, fresh lime juice and simple syrup.”
- 2 parts SVEDKA Vodka
- 3/4 part fresh lime juice
- 3/4 part simple syrup
- Garnish: edible glitter
Muddle mint at bottom of glass and build drink on top over crushed ice (except for bitters, glitter, and mint). Agitate with a spoon (or swizzle), not disturbing the mint at the bottom. Top with ice, rim with glitter. Garnish with mint.
EMERALD SPRITZER
- 1 1⁄2 parts Pucker® Sour Apple Sass™ Vodka
- 1 part Lemon Juice
- 1 part Simple Syrup
- 1 part Unsweetened Green Tea
- 10 Mint Leaves, Ripped
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, Shake, strain and pour into a Collins glass for a perfect St. Patrick’s Day cocktail.
